Your Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a full time SEN/Class Teaching Assistant who will play a key role in the support for children. The successful candidate will support a range of children with different needs within the classroom setting.

There will be times when you will required to work one to one with a child.

The successful candidates will need to be able to work collaboratively and flexibly within our team, build good working relationships with both children and adults and demonstrate a respectful and caring attitude towards all our children. Experience of SEMH and personal care in a progressive educational environment is beneficial and valued.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in delivering agreed learning intervention programs; adjusting activities according to pupil need to support and enrich learning
  • Ability to deliver pastoral support within the school to address the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning.
  • Experience in behaviour and anger management strategies
  • Relevant Vocational Qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning
  • Qualified HLTA

The Details

Full times hours of work: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks of the year term only -Part time maybe considered.

Work Pattern: 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

Salary: FTE £20,809 - £23,582 which is within Associate 2 staff support range.

Pro Rata: £16,161.40 - £18,315

London Weighting allowance £643 FTE (£499.39 pro-rata)
