Visions for Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to assist with the Special Educational Needs of students aged 12+. This is a long term supply role with a Special Needs School that provides education to children with both physical and mental health difficulties. This school delivers an educational programme that is tailored for the children’s needs and strives to provide support as well as a safe learning environment.
- The students have a range of special needs including SEMH, BESD, PMLD, SLD, MLD and ASC.
- Lessons will be either on a 121 basis or in very small groups.
- The ideal applicant will have previous experience within an SEN environment and be a positive, empathetic and responsible individual.
- Applicants must hold a current DBS (Children and Vulnerable Adults) and it be registered on the online update service.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and meet all national safeguarding criteria.
