At International School Andalucia, amazing learning is a life-long journey where we are challenged to get better every day!

International School Andalucía was founded in 2009 in Espartinas, Seville. Through the years the school has expanded rapidly.  Indeed, the original site proved too small and eventually the school was moved to the actual site in Sanlucar la Mayor, Seville in 2010 with a current roll of nearly 300 pupils, 3 through 18 years of age. Approximately 80% of the student body are from Spain and 20% from over 30 nationalities.

At INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ANDALUCÍA we believe in the transformative power of education. We are a British school, offering our students a holistic education and bilingual development, as our language of communication is English. We work together with an attitude and a growth mindset based on our values: respect,  kindness, fairness, responsibility and personal best.

We are committed to preparing them to go out into the world with positivity, purpose and confidence, along with all the academic, social and problem-solving skills necessary for future success.

In June 2018, International School Andalucía became a member of the International Schools Partnership (ISP) – a like-minded group of schools committed to driving high standards of teaching and learning and to always ‘getting better’. ISA’s new partnership with ISP has come at an exciting time, and with it renewed investment in our facilities.

The school offers a British curriculum foundation with older students sitting examinations at I/GCSE and A-Level in a wide variety of disciplines, allowing our students to be able to go to Universities in Spain and indeed in any country around the world.  ISA pupils have gone on to study in several different countries and the school is promoting strong connections with the growing list of alumni.

We offer a fully integrated PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) Programme throughout the school from Reception to Year 13. Pupils are taught the importance of acceptance, teamwork and sharing whilst learning to recognise their  personal traits and the impact they may have on others.

We believe in the importance of Student Voice! The Year 6 Buddy, The Student Council and House Captains are channels designed to give children further responsibility and school wide recognition for their kindness and maturity in taking on important social roles in the school.

ISA is a Member of the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS), and is a certified examination centre for Cambridge, EDEXCEL, and ESOL Examinations.

The school promotes a balanced whole-child education, with strong sports and arts programs as well as service-learning opportunities.  Students are supported in addition to their core subject teachers by Student Support services including a school first -aid practitioner, EAL faculty, Learning Support and Pastoral Care faculty.
