Job overview

The Governing Body of our happy and successful school wish to appoint a passionate and inspirational SENDCO to join our warm, caring and dedicated team in September 2015.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced SENDCO who has the appropriate qualification or experience. The successful applicant will be responsible for continuing the SEN provision within the school and be an exemplary teacher with a proven record of expertise in special educational needs.

The ideal candidate will: 

  • Have SEND experience and/or the National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination 
  • Have a sound understanding of the SEND Code of Practice 
  • Have high expectations of themselves and the children 
  • Have ability and determination to inspire and motivate children to achieve their best
  • Are committed to embracing and enhancing the ethos of our Christian School
