Tower Hamlets College is based in a vibrant and culturally diverse borough of east London and located just two minutes from the Canary Wharf business district.

We offer a range of English and maths courses, from A levels to GCSEs and Functional Skills for students on academic vocational, ESOL and apprenticeships programmes. We have partnerships with local world class companies which offer our students internships. Last year, 85% of our 16-18 year old students went on to university.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Senior Curriculum Manager to be responsible for A Levels, GCSEs and Functional Skills in the subject area of English, for young people and adults. Reporting to the Head of Faculty for Foundation Learning and English, Senior Curriculum Managers are second tier managers within our Faculty structure. The core purpose of a Senior Curriculum Manager is to drive up standards and ensure an excellent student experience. You will have teaching responsibilities and will be expected to carry out line-management duties and classroom observations.

It is essential that candidates have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification, are teacher trained and have both management and teaching experience in this curriculum area.
