The Journalism and Digital Media Hub at our newest campus in the vibrant coastal town of Hastings offers an exciting and innovative academic portfolio of undergraduate courses across the disciplines of Journalism, Sports Journalism, Multimedia Broadcast Journalism, Broadcast Media, Television Production, Digital Media, Digital Film, Graphic Design, Illustration, Computing and Games Design; with many courses accredited by relevant councils. The Hub is building on a reputation of high quality, research informed teaching and producing highly employable, imaginative and creative graduates.

We are seeking a specialist in Multimedia Broadcast Journalism to strengthen and compliment the academic and research profile of the Hub. You will have a good honours degree in a relevant subject or significant professional industry experience as well as substanial teaching experience in Higher Education, extensive subject knowledge in radio, television and multiplatform news and the ability to lead news focused modules and “news days”. Experience of course leadership and course development is desirable, as is a PhD and a research profile, although early career researchers are encouraged to apply.
