Basingstoke College of Technology is a welcoming and professional FE college in north Hampshire. We are looking for a Senior Learning Resources Assistant to join our enthusiastic colleagues.

We wish to appoint enthusiastic ICT/e-learning research coach. You will be one of the front-line staff members, providing pro-active, practical and general support to enable our learners to gain the maximum benefit from the use of the Learning Resources Centre and the ILT Suite in the College. This will include the use of Microsoft products, the Internet, online databases and services and social media.

Supporting our learners in these centres you will be able to demonstrate that you are an experienced user of the Microsoft Office suite and an experienced and regular user of the internet and social media. You will contribute to group training sessions as well as providing one - to - one support. You will have previous experience of working with young people ages 16 and over. A customer service - focused attitude is essential, as is the ability to work flexibly and multi-task in a busy environment.

In this post you will be required to work 3 shifts per week - Monday from 9.00 am to 1.30pm, Wednesday from 12.30 am until 5.00pm and Friday from 10.00am until 3.30pm.
