Our current Senior School Improvement Officer is taking up a new role with Ofsted and so we are looking for a dynamic, energetic and engaging individual to join our School Improvement team.

With a proven track record at a senior level in education you will join a fantastic organisation that has huge ambitions and a track record of delivery. Wigan's successful system led school improvement model was one of the first to emerge and is recognised nationally as good practice. With 88% of all schools in the borough rated good or outstanding, working with the School Improvement Boards your role will be to quality assure and monitor school improvement in the system.

You will have the opportunity to continue to develop the role and the model and contribute to the future direction of the education service whilst joining an ambitious and successful place at a time of great opportunity given Wigan's contribution to Greater Manchester devolution and the region.
