Site Staff Member

25 hours per week. Required as soon as possible

The Governors wish to appoint an additional member of site staff to support the school whilst major building work is undertaken. This part time role will involve daily liaison with contractors on site and constant vigilance to ensure the health and safety of the children and staff is managed and maintained.

In addition standard caretaking duties, receiving deliveries, minor repairs and other site duties will be expected.

The successful applicant will need to have the flexibility to work a split shift (7-10.30am and 2.30 -6.30pm) to cover the site manager's leave.

Initially this is a one year contract to cover the build period but may be extended. The successful candidate will have had recent experience of construction work, be able to demonstrate the ability to take responsibility, to work independently and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check.
