You will be working with a pioneering group, Nishkam School Trust, which is a flagship DfE Free School, and is the first multi-academy free school trust in the UK. Nishkam schools have the triple pursuit of academic excellence, creating a community that supports children throughout their lives and nurturing a strong values-led approach to life.

We are looking for a practical and well-motivated site supervisor to join our School team. You will need to be self-reliant and good at using your initiative. Duties will include premises management, maintenance, security of the buildings and site, storage of cleaning materials, ensuring inside and outside environment are well maintained and meet Health and Safety requirements.

Practical skills and experience are an advantage in this role, yet some training will be offered. The ability to work flexibly under the direction of the Headteacher/Deputy Headteacher is key.

The successful candidate will need to commit to create a secure, welcoming and well maintained environment. He or she will be professional, conscientious and be able to prioritise and organise him or herself effectively.

Nishkam Primary School is a co-educational Sikh free school in Birmingham for children aged 4 to 11. The school offers the full range of National Curriculum subjects along with faith and language studies.
