Skills Development Coordinator – Degree Apprenticeships Engineering

Salary:  PC Band – Point 34 – 37 £38,471 - £42,021  

Contract Type: Fixed Term to 31 July 2025, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year  

Location: Paignton, Devon

We are seeking a Skills Development Coordinator in Degree Apprenticeships within Engineering. You will play a pivotal role in driving recruitment and raising overall growth of Degree Apprenticeship provisions in all existing and future Engineering Pathways. This is a forward-facing role where you will be targeting engineering employers through a focussed marketing strategy by a combination of face-to-face employer visits or targeted online marketing activity that engages with engineering businesses to generate leads whilst collating and reporting on degree apprentice opportunities. This role will involve collaboration between external businesses and internal curriculum to bridge the gap between generating interest in degree apprentices and filling degree apprenticeships vacancies. The desired candidate will have knowledge of Higher-Level Education, Apprenticeship style provisions and delivery and competence in sales driven interaction with businesses.
