Job overview

We wish to appoint to the new full-time post of SENCO at our popular and vibrant Children’s Centre in Acton, west London.

Teaching ICan for 0.4WTE across our newly restructured Bases, you will also provide 0.6WTE professional leadership and management of the SEN and inclusion agenda across all the settings within the Centre.

Supported by the Locality SEN Practitioner, you will lead, develop and support effective teaching practice for SEN children, ensuring their learning needs are met in the most effective way.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the development of SEN provision at our Centre. An additional and new SEN facility is due for completion in January 2016 and our SENCO will be at the forefront of establishing it as a centre of excellence.

South Acton is Ealing’s largest Children’s Centre and the SENCO will be a key member of the senior management team.

We enjoy a purpose-built environment, a dedicated team of qualified teaching and Nursery staff and a highly supportive and community-focused Governing Body.
