Uxbridge College is a highly successful Further Education College situated in West London. We achieved the grade of ‘Outstanding’ in our last Ofsted inspection (May 2008).

We require a full time Lecturer to plan and deliver across a range of programmes within the Basic Education curriculum. You would develop the work of the department with particular focus on those learners with more complex special educational and communication needs. You will also be involved in the development of the programmes within the area.

You should have experience of teaching within the Foundation Learning/Basic Education area including Functional Skills, together with up-to-date knowledge of good practice in this area. You should either possess or be willing to obtain or be working towards an advanced level specialist teaching qualification.
