Job overview

30 hours per week, term time only. (The post is subject to the child remaining in school.)

A trained and experienced special needs teaching assistant who is also trained and experienced in Applied Behaviour Analysis (Verbal Behaviour) is required to work with a Year one child with special learning needs.

This post is linked specifically to an individual child and the post will end if the child leaves the school or if the statement changes.

We require an enthusiastic professional to join our committed staff. You will work with a well-established and supportive Year Group team in exciting learning environments, supporting a child with specific learning needs in the classroom.

You will have:

Experience

  • Working with or caring for children of relevant age.
  • Must have experience of working with ABA/VB for a minimum of two years
  • Have proven practical skills to support children with SEN in a mainstream setting.

Qualifications/Training

  • Must have been trained by a Board Certified Consultant Behaviour Analyst
  • Good numeracy/literacy skills;GCSE Grade C or above
  • Completion of NQV level 3 or higher teacher assistant qualification
