Located in the heart of Corsham, the school is housed in a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian building constructed in 1776. Heywood Prep educates boys and girls from age 2 to 11, providing a modern, innovative education in a beautiful, traditional prep school setting. At the end of Year 6, our children go on to independent senior schools in Bath and Wiltshire, many winning awards and scholarships, or into the excellent local maintained schools. Heywood Prep is a member of Wishford Schools. Under the leadership of Headmaster Guy Barrett the school is in the midst of an exciting period of modernisation and development, with investment and support from the Wishford group.

With strong growth in pupil numbers throughout the school, we are now in the process of splitting year groups to operate on a two form basis throughout the school. As a result we are looking for a part-time Sports Coach to join our team in September 2015.

We are looking for candidates who are:

  • Energetic, enthusiastic and engaging;
  • Imaginative, innovative and committed to the highest of standards; and
  • Well organized, motivated and a team player.
