We value individuality and positively celebrate diversity and inclusion in every area of the school.

Clifton High School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, sporty and intelligent university graduate with a ‘can do’ attitude to assist with a range of duties and activities within the PE and Sports Department as well as across the School. The primary roles for the Sports Graduate, includes assisting teachers in PE lessons. games sessions, fixtures, school trips and other duties in-line with the post-holder’s skills and experience.

This position is an excellent stepping stone towards a teaching career and for the right candidate, there may be the opportunity to lead and deliver a small amount of classroom teaching along with members of PE and Sports Department.

It is also an expectation that they will be a keen sportsperson with the ability to assist with quality teaching and coaching to pupils and students of all abilities and ages. It would be of benefit for the post holder to have played or coached sport to a good standard in any of the School’s frontline sports and a specific interest in Strength and Conditioning would be an advantage. The post holder will also need to be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and have a willingness to work flexibly with both duties and hours in order to meet the requirements of our busy School including supporting our active Saturday Sports Programme.
