The Board of Directors of The STEP Academy Trust wish to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Head Teacher to lead David Livingstone Academy. Our Trust is a supportive, mission and values driven organisation and aspirational in its nature, we are inspired by improving children’s life chances. STEP Academies work together to provide high quality experiences for all our children.

If you are new to Headship, you will receive a high degree of support in the early months. Consistent with STEP’s leadership plus model, Directors will assign you appropriate levels of Executive Head Teacher or mentoring support. As well as enabling rapid school improvement, this approach has accelerated the career development of talented leaders. For example, the current Head Teacher of David Livingstone has been internally promoted to Executive level, now providing this exciting opportunity to join our STEP Leadership Team and to drive this exciting Academy to the next level.
