Ashington High School Sports College is currently a 13-18 high school and is part of the wider Ashington Learning Partnership (ALP), together with two first and two middle schools. In September 2015 the ALP is re-structuring from a 3 to 2 tier system and will comprise of one secondary and two primary schools; Ashington High will become a 11-18 secondary school with a student population of around 1,200.

Scale 5 (£20,253 - £22,212) pro-rata. 37 hours per week term-time plus 5 days

Required to start as soon as possible, we are seeking to appoint a dynamic and adaptable individual to work in our Care & Guidance Faculty which is responsible for welfare and discipline within the school as well as supporting progression and positive attitudes to learning, and ensuring that each student is encouraged to achieve their potential.
