We wish to appoint an AS/A2 Chemistry teacher at our Eastbourne Campus. Applications are invited from enthusiastic and committed teachers who can demonstrate a real passion for teaching and learning and have the capacity to play a leading role in the continuing development of the team’s provision.

You will be an effective team member who is able to co-ordinate our Chemistry AS and A2 courses with a view to raising standards and improving the student experience. Excellent communication and organisational skills should be matched by a proven track record of high-quality teaching and successful student outcomes.

Candidates should be well-qualified Science graduates with experience of successfully teaching Chemistry to A2 level. It will be an advantage if candidates can teach on other Science courses in addition to Chemistry AS/A2, for example BTEC Science and/or GCSE Science.

The Science Laboratories are spacious, well-designed and include a projector plus interactive whiteboard. The department is well-equipped and has excellent technician support.
