Permanent  (1.0 FTE) Hours per Week: 32.5

We require an experienced Heating & Ventilation (Commercial) Teacher to teach and assess 16-18 years and Adults on Service & Maintenance and Installation Apprentice NVQ Diplomas at Levels 2 and 3.

To be successful in this role, you must be committed to achieving excellence in teaching and learning, with a proven track record of results. Prior experience of teaching in an FE or Sixth Form College would be desirable. In addition, it would also be advantageous if the candidate held level 2 welding or level 3 plumbing qualifications in addition to Heating and Ventilation Qualifications at level 3.

Salford City College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college situated in Salford, Greater Manchester. It is a 16-plus institution with five teaching locations in and around Salford: City Skills Centre, Eccles Centre, FutureSkills @MediaCityUK, Pendleton Sixth Form Centre and Walkden Centre. 

Salford City College provides places for more than 11,500 students aged 16 and over, most of whom are full-time and aged 16-18. The college was established as a general further education college in January 2009 after the merger of Pendleton Sixth Form College, Salford College of Further Education and Eccles Sixth Form College. The Salford Academy Trust, of which the college is a member, originated in June 2012.
