We wish to appoint a well qualified and inspirational teacher to lead our Nursery class and the Early Years team. An excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum, combined with Montessori experience would be an ideal combination.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our thriving and distinctive Junior School. Residential accommodation may be available for candidates interested in contributing to our boarding community. This is a full time role.

Frensham Heights School is a mixed, all-through independent day and boarding school with sixth form, situated in Farnham, Surrey. There are approximately 522 students at the school, between the ages of 3-18.

Frensham Heights School was opened in 1925 and remains on its original site. The school is constantly expanding and improving its facilities, most recently with a new studio and recital room for creative and performing arts students.

Values and vision

Frensham Heights School has nine core values: heritage, ambition, respect, equality, tolerance, self-discipline, cooperation, creativity and community. The school wishes to demonstrate these values, such as respect through example, believing that both teachers and students need to give and earn this to build a sound learning foundation. Pupils are encouraged to achieve their potential and are exposed to many opportunities to pursue and discover new talents. The school follows a no-uniform policy and teachers are called by their first name, with the aim that everyone at all levels are treated as individual people.

The motto at Frensham Heights School is ‘Think, Create, Explore’, and students are encouraged to be both inspired and inspiring, with many extra curricular activities offered - ranging from music-based to dance related.
