Teacher in Charge of Sociology

Social Sciences is a relatively new department at the school and is going from strength to strength, with pupil numbers continuing to grow. Sociology, Criminology and Psychology are expanding subjects at A Level, with a high level of student take-up. As a result, we are growing our department and looking for a teacher in charge of Sociology to join us from September 2024.

The aim of this role will be to provide strong leadership within the department. Curriculum leadership experience would be an advantage, but aspiring leaders are also encouraged to apply. The role could suit an experienced sociology teacher looking for a new challenge. We welcome applications from both independent and maintained schools.
