Who we need

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated lecturer with experience of teaching A Level Business. We are seeking an A level Business teacher to join our team at High Pavement 6th Form Centre. A Level Business is an extremely popular subject choice here at High Pavement.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the futures of our students and we need someone who can inspire, engage and guide students to achieve their academic potential and career ambitions.

What you’ll bring

The skills and experience we are looking for the successful candidate include:

· Experience of teaching A Level Business.

· Hold a recognised level 5 teaching qualification.

· Excellent communication skills

· Bring creativity and innovation to the classroom, utilising a range of teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience.

· A commitment to understanding and catering to the diverse needs of our young people, fostering their academic and personal development.

New College Nottingham is a mixed, selective, non-denominational general further education college situated in Nottingham. It is a 16 plus with five different sites in the centre of Nottingham. The latest Ofsted report identified 14,029 learners at the school, between the ages of 16-19, studying a range of academic and vocational courses.

The college was established in 1998 through a merger of smaller educational centres in the Nottingham area. Further merging has happened, most recently early in 2017, when the college merged together with Central College Nottingham.

New College Nottingham has a high success rate for getting its former students into a successful place in the job market or further education. It also provides an adult education service

The college specialises in music and performance as well as excelling in its media and creative courses. It hosts a wide range of facilities to help its learners’ experiences, from a hair and beauty salon and art gallery through to a music venue and theatre.
