Preston Manor became an all-through school in September 2011, expanding to provide two forms of entry primary (Lower School) provision on our existing site. We converted to become a Co-operative Academy in February 2013. Our successful 11-19 provision is oversubscribed and was judged to be 'good with many outstanding features' by Ofsted in May 2012. The 6th form was judged to be ‘outstanding’ for the 3rd consecutive Ofsted.
Due to an expansion of the department we have an opening within the Art and Design faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Art Teacher, who is passionate about teaching the subject they love.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and energetic team who strive to ensure that all students enjoy learning and surpass expectations of achievement.
We are a faculty consisting of Art and Design, Graphics, Resistant Materials and Food Technology, and offer all these subjects at GCSE and A-level. Our expectations of student behaviour and learning is high. Academic results at KS4 and 5 within the Faculty are excellent. The school has recently invested in outstanding digital software and a Mac suite to support the further development of all subjects.
