Thank you for your interest in joining Morna International College. We are entering an exciting period of growth and are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Art and Design Technology to join our very successful department.
The post of Art & Design Technology teacher is available from September 2015 due to the growing numbers of pupils in the Secondary School and the development of new learning and teaching resources.
There will be a brand new Design Technology classroom from September 2015 and the successful candidate will work closely with our Art teacher to deliver Art across KS3, 4 and 5 and introduce Design Technology in KS3. There will be scope to develop Design Technology in KS4 and 5 over the coming years.
The Art subjects currently taught across Key Stage 3 are:
- Art
Design Technology will be introduced from September 2015.
Examination subjects under the Arts umbrella current taught are:
- GCSE Art (option of IGCSE)
- GCSE Photography (option of IGCSE)
- A Level Art
- A level Photography
The introduction of examination Design Technology subjects is planned once it is embedded in KS3.
Morna International College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced colleague with teaching experience of all or some of the above subjects.

About Morna International College
Morna International College is located in the middle of the island of Ibiza, a few minutes from the beautiful village of Santa Gertrudis. The college campus provides an excellent learning environment where children feel motivated, challenged, safe and well-cared for.
Our school covers the whole age range from 3 to 18 and we offer the British education system with a very international focus, leading to international GCSE and 'A' level qualifications. We have excellent teacher-pupil ratios and are able to offer suitably differentiated learning targets to meet the needs of all of our students. We are well resourced and make excellent use of modern technology.
We have students aged from 3 to 18 from over 20 nationalities. Our student population consists of around one third Spanish children, one third British children and one third international children. We have a strong pastoral system, based on close monitoring and plenty of rewards. This results in a happy and focussed environment in which our children respond really well to inspired teaching.
In recent years our students have progressed onto postgraduate studies in universities throughout the UK, and also in Spain, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and the USA.
