We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified teacher of Art & Photography to join our Creative & Digital Media Faculty of 5, to support the delivery of Key Stage 4 and 5 qualifications:

Outcomes and progress are currently strong, in our first year, 84% of Y10 students gained Core Science GCSE A*-C (FFTD target= 69%) with very successful module outcomes in both CDM and Engineering at L2 & 3. There is a strong interest and up take of Creative Media, Fine Art & Photography at L3, supporting students working towards university and higher apprenticeship pathways. We currently have a 100% predicted pass rate for both AS and A2 Fine Art and Photography, with 91% predicted A*-C across both subjects.

You will be a highly skilled practitioner who understands the challenges of educating 14-19 year olds in an employer led technology rich environment.  Effective partnership working is absolutely critical to the UTC’s success. We also welcome applications from newly qualified teachers who have the skills and attributes to develop their expertise within our unique environment. On reaching the expected full capacity of students additional TLR opportunities will be considered for suitably qualified staff across the UTC.
