Teacher of Art - part time

We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Teacher of Art with the passion and commitment to join our high achieving and successful staff team.

We seek to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and creative teacher to join the Art and Design team at Ricards Lodge High School for September 2024.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a highly motivated and successful department. We offer a rich and varied curriculum at KS3, and run courses in Art, Art Textiles, and Photography at KS4. Our sixth form is growing year on year with courses in Art and Design, Fashion & Textiles Design, 3D Design & Photography.

The successful applicant will be an inspirational Art teacher with the ability to plan and deliver outstanding Art lesson at all levels from KS3. They will be comfortable with a broad range of Art and Design practice and will ideally have some knowledge in teaching Textiles and/or Photography. They will be committed to promoting the highest standards, enjoy working as part of a creative team and be excited by the prospect of contributing to a dynamic and forward looking Art, Textiles and Photography department.

Ricards Lodge High School is an outstanding, successful and vibrant multi-cultural comprehensive school for girls with a co-educational Sixth Form. We have high expectations of all our students and provide a dynamic and stimulating environment in which they can learn and develop as individuals.
