With the expansion of our student body and promotion in the department, Budapest British International School (BBIS) is seeking an exceptional, innovative Science Teacher (Biology) to join our community.

Successful candidates should have knowledge and experience teaching IB, MYP, & DP Biology and Integrated Science at MYP. The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher with a recognised teaching qualification and have completed recent IB MYP or DP training. They must demonstrate compatibility with the IB philosophy and the flexibility and commitment needed to meet the demands of an innovative and expanding school.

Any of the following would provide a candidate with a distinct advantage:

• Existing experience within an IB Authorised programme
• IB recognised professional development for MYP &/or DP at CAT1 , CAT 2 & 3
• Experience in preparing for the MYP Personal Projects, and DP Extended Essays
• IB Examiner for MYP or DP 
• Interest in and some experience in teaching TOK
• Interest in supervising CAS activities

Formed 8 years ago, BBIS is located in Buda, the leafy side of Budapest. Our current roll of 415 students from 3-18 is expanding to a maximum of 480, representing many different nationalities.
