Job overview
We are looking to appoint a well qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Biology for September 2015. Candidates should have a strong academic background and be willing to contribute to the further development of this department, which enjoys considerable popularity amongst the pupils. The post represents an excellent opportunity to teach motivated boys in a well-resourced department. The successful candidate will be capable of teaching at all levels in the School, from Year 6 to Year 13.
The Sixth Form teaching includes both A Level and International Baccalaureate classes; either or both would be available for the right candidate. This position is suitable either for someone new to teaching and looking to challenge themselves academically, or for a more experienced candidate who has the skills to enrich this already successful department. The ability to work within a team is essential, and candidates will need to have good IT skills.
Salary is on the Whitgift Foundation scale (substantially above national scale).
