Job overview
We are looking to appoint a food and textile teacher who:
- Can teach textiles at KS3 and food up to GCSE;
- Has excellent practical skills and creativity;
- Is motivated and enthusiastic;
- Is committed to raising standards, allowing every student to achieve their best;
- Has excellent classroom skills;
- Has a good working knowledge of ICT;
The successful candidate would be expected to become part of a team whose members support each other in all aspects of the work of the department and who willingly contribute to such tasks as producing resource material and modifying schemes of work, sharing good practice and developing new ideas.
