Hatch End High School is a high performing, innovative Academy in Harrow with Arts College status with a large and highly successful sixth form. We are extremely proud of our diverse and multi-ethnic cohort and outstanding reputation for Inclusion. Standards and progress are high but we are never complacent.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Design Technology. The ideal candidate will be able to teach Food Technology to Key Stages 3 & 4. The ability to teach Resistant Materials and Product Design would be desirable. The Design and Technology Department is becoming increasingly popular at Key Stage 4 with Product Design now offered at Key Stage 5.

This post is suitable for NQTs but also open to experienced candidates.

We offer a comprehensive induction package, including iPad, superb promotion prospects and career development.

Hatch End High School is a highly successful multi-cultural Academy located in Harrow, London.

Sixth-form facilities were opened on the site in 2010 and a brand new rebuild in 2019. The school currently has approximately 1,250 students aged 11-18, including 270 in the Sixth Form.
