We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Design and Technology with Hospitality and Catering to join the outstanding team at Royds Hall, A SHARE Academy. If you have a passion for these subjects and want to inspire this in students, our talented, enthusiastic and very supportive team would like you to join us.

As a Teacher of Design Technology and Hospitality and Catering, you will be required to meet the general requirements of this post. In addition, you will be required to fulfil any reasonable expectations from the Headteacher.  

The post will require you to work in partnership with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, governors and staff to ensure the continuous improvement of the Academy.

This role will also require the post holder to work in other school settings under the direction of the Headteacher.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be educated to degree level with QTS.
  • Have a clear vision and lead by example.
  • Love motivating and inspiring pupils through the support they give in order to encourage learning.
  • Be committed to our ethos that all pupils can achieve at Royds Hall.
  • Have great references demonstrating they are a suitable candidate, safe to work with young people.
