About the school

William Ellis School is a thriving, voluntary aided, non-denominational, inclusive comprehensive boys’ school serving the educational needs of boys from the ages of 11 to 18. It is an attractive site on the edge of Hampstead Heath with excellent access to Central London. About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Drama (with a willingness to teach KS3 English and/or KS5 Film). A TLR with a leadership role will be considered for the right candidate.

The department is highly regarded, enjoys strong cross-curricular links with Music and offers an ambitious, creative and rich curriculum. Currently, Drama is taught to all throughout KS3 and is an option subject at Key Stage 4 with strong outcomes.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A highly motivated and inspirational classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge
  • Committed to maximising pupil progress through setting high standards and by delivering effective teaching and learning
  • Able to motivate, lead, support, and challenge students to be successful
