Alcester Academy is a rapidly improving mixed 11 - 16 Academy. We are seeking to recruit an outstanding Drama and English teacher who has the ability to motivate and inspire students.
The successful applicant will join an innovative and forward thinking team who are committed to ensuring that all students achieve their potential. They will have the ability to combine academic rigour and achievement with enjoyment and passion for the subject that they teach.
Drama is currently one of the best performing subjects at the Academy. The English department is proud of the progress that students make in English and English Literature; the examination results reflect a continual trend of improvement. You should be ambitious, energetic and creative, and want to be part of a team that expects nothing but the very best from all of our students. This post will require the successful candidate to teach Drama up to, and including, GCSE level.
