What we are looking for:

Applicants must be qualified teachers, with a UK or internationally recognised equivalent qualification. Familiarity with the English National Curriculum is essential, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience of teaching is desirable. We will also consider applications from successful NQTs interested in beginning their careers in an international environment.

Specialist Teacher of English

Al Ain English Speaking School is seeking a qualified and innovative Secondary School teacher to join the English department. The ideal applicant must be a smart-working and enthusiastic teacher with excellent subject knowledge and a sound understanding of the UK National Curriculum.

The position will involve teaching students in Years 7 to 13 and the applicant may also be delegated to teach English as a Second Language in Years 10 and 11.  A motivated professional with a keen interest in inspiring students to love learning and excel in English Language and Literature will find teaching at AAESS a rewarding experience. It is also expected that the applicant will be involved in extra-curricular activities.
