Pensby High Schools' Federation comprises of Pensby High Schools for Girls and Pensby High School for Boys. The two schools share a joint leadership team with all staff working in both schools.

The LA is currently consulting with the school community on a formal merger of the two schools.

The teaching of English is a key priority for the school. We want our students to enjoy their English and to understand it's value and importance to their learning.

We want your enthusiasm and qualities to inspire learners and to equip them for their future careers.

We would like to appoint a well-qualified Teacher of English, the ability to teach drama would be an advantage, who is able to teach across all key stages with energy and enthusiasm.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Teach English and Drama across key stages 3 to 5
• Display and promote excellence in teaching and learning
• Inspire Pupils
• Have a commitment to raising achievement
