We are looking for a Teacher of English to join us as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school, with an emphasis on promoting a culture of educational excellence, within a caring and supportive Catholic environment.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in building upon the success of our hard working, innovative and successful team, working alongside colleagues to enhance curriculum provision, deepen students’ learning and accelerating their progress. The role includes the responsibility of Intervention where you would ensure a high profile for Literacy across the College by:

·        Supporting staff in the delivery of Literacy interventions and initiatives

·        Leading on the design and implementation of effective Literacy provision 

·        Keep up to date with developments in the area of Literacy methodology

·        Engage all stakeholders (both internal & external) in the development of the Literacy provision

·        Analyse and evaluate Literacy performance data

·        Lead Literacy interventions to support the College Improvement Plan

·        Review the impact of Literacy Interventions to identify development priorities
