We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our strong and supportive department. The school converted to an academy March 1st 2015 sponsored by Outwood Grange Academies Trust. The Trust have implemented in partnership with school governors, a rapid programme of improvement and the school is now a vibrant and highly focused centre of learning.

The successful candidate will be able to access the extensive advice, support, resources, CPD and career opportunities available in the academy through the Outwood Institute of Education. Outwood Academy Shafton is an 11 – 16 school (NOR 1025) occupying a modern building in North East Barnsley and is only minutes from the A1/M1 and other transport links.
