Job overview

We are looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic English teacher with the capability and passion to teach to A Level standard.

King’s Norton Boys’ School is a rapidly improving 11 to 18 secondary school; our 2014 GCSE and A-level results were the best the school has achieved. At GCSE 66% of students achieved five or more A*-C grades including English and Maths. The headteacher and governors are determined to maintain the school’s upward trajectory, giving our students the highest quality learning experiences to ensure they all achieve their potential.

All who work at the school are focused on continual improvement. Through a well established coaching programme staff work collaboratively in supporting each other's development. A culture that 'we are all learners' exists throughout the school.

Applications are welcome from teachers of all levels of experience. Applicants should complete the school’s application form and submit with a supporting letter, maximum of two sides of A4.
