Our students require a teacher of English who has the ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning for our students. We are seeking a talented and inspiring teacher to join our small school.

This is an exciting time to join the school, as we expect students to achieve the best ever GCSE results this year. Significant changes in curriculum and assessment models have been put in place in the English department over the last 12 months to secure improvement in GCSE outcomes with the new leadership of the department.

The successful candidate is expected to teach at both Key Stage 3 and 4 across the whole ability range.

You must possess a track record of successful teaching practice, underpinned by a broad base of subject knowledge and teaching and learning strategies. In addition, we are seeking candidates with highly developed communication and organisation skills combined with the ability to engage, enthuse and motivate our students to achieve their potential.

The school will seek to invest in the successful candidate, offering extensive CPD opportunities to fast track to middle leadership through enrolment on national leadership programmes. A CPD plan will be designed to ensure career progression in line with aspirations and personal goals.

If you would like to join a small, improving school, where every person matters, please submit your application by the closing date. Applicants are encouraged to visit the school prior to the closing date.

Appointment will, of course, be subject to appropriate child safeguarding procedures.
