About The International School of Choueifat - Cairo, Egypt

ISC-Cairo

Two International Schools in Greater Cairo, the International School of Choueifat-Cairo in Katameya (established in 1995) and the International School of Choueifat- City of 6 October in Dreamland (established in 2003), the City of 6 October in Giza .  Both schools are members of the SABIS® Network, with multi-cultural staff and student bodies.

ISC-Cairo, located in Katameya, an area of New Cairo, which is a new and developing suburb of Cairo, has a current enrolment of 2129 students, representing 30 nationalities.  The purpose-built campus of 92,000 sq. meters comprises 6 classroom buildings, an administration building (housing a two-storey library), a sports complex (including a multi-purpose gymnasium and a 25-meter pool), and a training pool for infants and juniors.  Complementing the sports complex facilities are 2 football pitches, 5 tennis courts, 6 basketball/volleyball courts and a 400-meter track. Four faculty apartment buildings add to the attractive campus.  The construction of a new 600-seat auditorium - with a 400-seat cafeteria was completed in April 2003.

ISC-Cairo, Katameya, lies east of the River Nile, and is about 20 minutes from Maadi, 30 minutes from Heliopolis, 20 minutes from Nasr City and about 35 minutes from downtown Cairo.
