Job overview

We are looking to appoint a full time

enthusiastic and committed teacher from

September 2024. The post would suit an NQT

or a more experienced colleague. Experience

in A Level Language is desirable, though not

essential. This role will provide significant

professional development, academic challenge

& the opportunity to work within a vibrant

learning community.

In May 2014 Ofsted judged the school to be

outstanding in all categories. As a designated

teaching school, we provide high-quality

professional development, supporting induction,

teaching, leadership and wellbeing.

The King Edward VI School is a co-educational academy school based in Northumberland for students aged 13-19.

The school is part of the Cheviot Learning Trust. In terms of sports facilities, it has a six-lane synthetic floodlit running track, changing room facilities, synthetic hockey pitches, football and rugby pitches, two gymnasiums, netball and tennis courts.
