St Richard Reynolds Catholic High School values itself as a place where young people come first, are loved, listened to, challenged and inspired. The school aims to assist Catholic parents and carers to fulfil their obligation to educate their children in accordance with the principles and teachings of the Church.

Catholic teaching and practice permeates every aspect of the school’s activity, and daily prayer and worship are integral to the curriculum. The core purpose of St Richard Reynolds is learning and teaching, and this is conducted in an environment that encourages, supports and develops the spiritual, intellectual, moral and physical development of the child.

Ofsted report

“Students make outstanding progress in practically all subjects, especially in English and mathematics. Many of them are already reaching standards achieved by older students nationally. The principal has high aspirations for students’ attainment in GCSE examinations in three years’ time and has laid firm foundations to achieve these.”
