The successful candidate will be part of a strong and successful English and Communications Department which has progressively raised student achievement. The highest results to date for the English Language GCSE were attained in 2014 with 77% students reaching A*-C for the English Language GCSE. There are opportunities to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 and possibly teaching Sixth Form in the near future.

Twickenham Academy opened in September 2010 and is operated by the Learning Schools Trust as part of an expanding international group of schools in England and Sweden. They are operated by the sponsor, Kunskapsskolan. The academy offers a wide range of subjects to meet young people’s aspirations and interests with a specialism in Sports and Digital Technologies.
