Teacher of English

Required from September, (maternity cover) we require a well-qualified Teacher of English to teach across the age and ability range from Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. There are two posts available.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of English. This post is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified teachers or more experienced staff. You will join a friendly and supportive staff who work together to ensure the highest achievement for all students.

The main requirements for the successful applicant will be an enthusiasm for English; a high degree of commitment to effective teaching and the ability to engage and support students of all ages in developing their understanding and enjoyment of the subject. The person appointed will also demonstrate a willingness to participate fully in the wider life of the School.
