Job overview

Required as soon as possible

Do you want to join a school that is making rapid progress towards becoming outstanding? Where 5 A*-C including maths and English have risen by 17% over the last 3 years? Where a full Ofsted Inspection in January 2013 judged the school to be ‘Good’ in every area with much that is outstanding? A school that Ofsted says is ‘a good school. Students make good progress and achieve above-average results in GCSE examinations’, where ‘Lessons are hardly ever disturbed by poor behaviour. Good behaviour regularly makes a positive contribution to the atmosphere and progress in lessons’ and where ‘staff morale is high’.

If the answer to those questions is yes then you are the person we are looking for. If you can motivate and inspire students and have high expectations of them and yourself, then we would love to hear from you. Our NQT support is very strong and we actively support excellent teachers, whatever their experience, in moving up the pay scale to UPS rapidly.

We are seeking to appoint a talented, creative, and energetic English teacher. Regardless of your experience you will be supported not only from within the department, but also through our cross-subject coaching structures. We also offer a funded Master’s program to allow you to develop further professionally through focused school based research.

We welcome colleagues who share our passion for engaging students in learning and inspiring them to achieve. If you are a committed teacher who shares our passion for students and education then we would welcome your application.

Both NQTs and more experienced colleagues are welcome to apply.
