Clare Mount Specialist Sports College is a very successful school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs including autism. It has 192 pupils on role aged 11-19 years. The school is outstanding in all areas as judged in its most recent Ofsted report and has recently gained Autism Accreditation.

We are seeking to appoint two exceptional, innovative, highly motivated practitioners who are child-centred and able to meet the diverse needs of young people who have difficulties within a learning and social environment. You must be fully inclusive and interested in the development of the whole child, can differentiate work and your teaching to meet a range of social, emotional and academic needs.

The successful candidates will be suitably qualified and passionate in their subject areas, be an outstanding classroom practitioner and fully committed to working with children with a range of special educational needs. A working knowledge of Autistic Spectrum Disorder is desirable.
