Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a talented Film and Television (Animation) teacher for September 2024. We want you to inspire students to understand and love your subject, achieve outstanding results and help our students become equipped to join the screen industries or progress to higher education when they leave us. This role will be teaching across our Level 3 Vocational course for Post 16 students and is offered as a genuine alternative to A level Film & Media.

We are looking for a well-rounded, innovative and creative Film & Television (Animation) teacher with specialised experience in post-production to join an established department delivering an exciting holistic Film & Television Production course supported by major industry partners.

We are keen to hear from teachers with backgrounds in industry, as this course will have a strong industry focus with students working to create moving image work that is to industry standards.

LSA is a new sixth form academy for London students which opened in September 2019. We will teach the skills and background knowledge needed to join the screen industries (which include film and television), to progress to higher education or to enter other professions.

Storytelling is at the heart of everything we do.

LSA is unique and exciting; never before has there been such a partnership between outstanding educators and global screen industry leaders. Our students will be taught by London’s best teachers and people who make their living working in the film and television industries.
