Values and vision

Christian values play a large part in the running of All Saints Church of England School. The secondary school encourages students to be accepting and tolerant towards all faiths and belief systems. In terms of curriculum, the school offers a wide range of courses, with GCSEs and BTECs available. Some students also make use of local off-site provision, such as Weymouth College.

The school’s dyslexia base ensures that students with such difficulties receive extra support with their studies and do not fall behind their peers. A broad array of extra-curricular activities are also provided, such as a writers’ club.

Ofsted report

The school has developed an approach to embedding reading, writing, communication and mathematics across the curriculum. The Year 7 catch-up funding is used for an accelerated reading scheme and one-to-one support. These initiatives are enabling these students to make rapid progress.”
