Teacher of History

Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form is a thriving community school with a healthy and open attitude to progress and change. Tolworth Girls’ School wish to appoint a full time teacher of History to teach all key stages, from September 2015. The most suitable applicant will be able to work successfully as part of a team, making contributions to both curriculum development and wider school activities.

The History department is a successful, high achieving department that delivers challenging curriculum at all key stages. Specialist rooms and facilities are available within the Ebacc faculty. Due to the changing nature of options and general curriculum changes the successful candidate would need to be a flexible worker with good communication and sound interpersonal skills.

The department is committed to local and residential fieldwork, visits to places of worship and strive to maintain a high profile within the school.
